Motorhomes are hired on a daily basis and range between $190/day in the off season and $550/day in the super peak season. Campervans are smaller (inside and out), have a combined shower/toilet space and are cheaper to insure, meaning they range from $150 to $270 per day. See pricing and availability here.

All of our RV's include standard insurance with a $5,000 excess, which you pay as a security bond. Standard Insurance covers a collision with a car or tree, for example. 

NOT covered in the standard insurance is tyre damage, roof and underbody damage or windscreen damage. You can pay a small daily rate to include these extra items if you wish. Bond Protection options are visible on the Booking Check Out screen.

You are NOT INSURED if you travel on unsealed roads, regardless of any additional cover you may have chosen.

If your trip is important and your dates not flexible, we recommend booking far in advance, as soon as your dates are firm.

Yes, you can add a second driver to your insurance for a nominal daily cost. All drivers must be 25 years or older and hold a full drivers licence.

Cancelation by you for any reason - 

• 30 or More Days prior to booking start date - 50% refund of any monies paid

• Less than 30 Days prior to booking start date - 0% refund of any monies paid

We recommend that all hirers have travel insurance. from a reputable company. Some credit cards, such as American Express can have generous travel insurance included with their membership.

* Future travel booking must be for the original hirer and new booking must be made and completed within 12 months of cancelled booking.

Cancelation due to Victorian Government Announcement.

If a Lockdown is in place before your hire begins and extends into your trip commencement - we allow a 90% credit toward future travel (rebooked trip must be within 12 months from original booking date). 

If a lockdown occurs during your trip - we'd recommend making the Motorhome or Campervan your home as you make your way back to us at a slow, safe and steady pace as there are no refunds for partially completed hires.

CREDIT CARD FEES

We do not charge credit card fees for any payments, however, we do deduct 3.5% from any refunds as our credit card processor does not credit these back to us.

A standard car licence is all that's required for our Motorhomes or Campervans. All hirers must be 25 years and older.

It's like driving a car - only bigger! About 3 times as tall as a normal car and about twice as long. A little wider, too. We will give you a test drive around our quiet block on collection with or without us if you like. Our MoHos have reverse cameras as well, but we always suggest having someone outside the vehicle on their phone to you when parking or reversing into your campsite.

Campervans are smaller inside and out. They are best suited to couples or solos who like to spend their time outdoors (regardless of weather) retreating to the 'van to eat, read. watch TV and sleep or in poor weather. They have a 'wet' bathroom - that is, a bathroom that contains both a shower and toilet in the same space. Because they are smaller and less expensive to purchase and insure, Campervans run about 20% less per day to hire.

Motorhomes, being larger, are more spacious and best for 2 or more people (up to 6 people in some of our models). They generally have a Dinette area for meals and a separate Lounge Area as well. They not only have more floor space, but also have a 'dry' bathroom where the toilet and shower are separate.

All hirers must watch the 15 minute training video before collection. At collection, we can go over anything you're unsure about and even do a test drive around the block to help you feel more at ease.

Yes! However, many people prefer to bring their own  (ouselves included - there's nothing like your OWN pillow!)

We have soft mattress toppers and top sheets on all of our beds.

We hired our very first Motorhome from a major hire company. The service was good but not great, and we had to rent or buy lots of things to make our trip more enjoyable. No. Our vehicles are fitted with GPS Trackers as our insurance does not cover you if you go off road or on unsealed roads.  Well maintained and smooth gravel roads are OK up to a maximum of 12kms SLOW travel, so long as it's en route to a recognised Camping Ground or Caravan/RV Park

We have Generators and Solar Panels/Blankets available for hire if you wish to 'free camp'. Free Camping is essentially camping away from a recognised camping ground or RV Park 'under the stars'. Three of our vehicles also have 2000W inverters, which will even allow you to run a coffee machine from the Motorhome's battery for a short time. In our Campervans and Motorhomes, there's only 2 wired appliances that require 240V power - they are the Air Conditioner/Heater and the Microwave.

Mishaps do occur! Don't sweat it, just make a note of it on the incident reporting sheet and let us know right away by SMS or Call. If we are aware ahead of time that a repair is required, it can help us to plan for parts and labour as soon as you arrive back. This can help us avoid canceling the next hire and ruining their holiday.
